We learn our Baptist friends, in their church last Sunday, brought several of their members to the bar, to answer for disorderly conduct and general neglect of church obligations. They were penitent and promised amendment, in consideration of which, they were ordered to "go and sin no more." Other of our churches might profit by this example of our Baptist brethren. Bad people should be cut off from the Church. E. F. Cox spent a few days in Jones county last week. Fools are not dead. One was in town last Tuesday, and walked a rope stretched from the tops of Oettinger Bros' and S. H. Abbott's stores.
