HADLEY THE OIE-PRHSE CLOTHIER, =^=r Main St GRAHAM, N. C. \ The Sias of the Father. The subject of "The Sins of the Father" is so big and vital —so 1 imminent and pressing upon the ' people of the South—that Thos. Dixon did not wait to put it into ' a novel, bnt attacked it directly 'by means of this play. He had r a message to speak concerning r racial parity, and he has spoken it without delaying or flinching. ' It comes, in Mr. Dixon's own 1 words, as a clarion call to the ' South to be true to her best tra -1 ditions and save American civili ' zation.' A book amuses and in r terests, but a piay drives a mes -1 sage home with incomparably ' greater power. Those who would ' witness the thrilling story Mr. r Dixon has put In dramatic guise > and would learn the nature of his ' extraoreinary message, will have their opportunity at the Mont white Theatre, Jan. 19.
