The Base Ball team rom Youngs ville came oyer and played the team from this place a very blow game last Wednesday evening. Youngsville was the winner, the score being 5 to 3. Our team lost out in the eighth inning on wild throwing. Batteries; Youngsville, Beasley and Winston. Franklinton, Underwood and Daniels. The Franklinton Cornet Band furnished music for the game. Wednesday night was Junior Order night here. At 7:30 o'clock Franklinton Council No. 120 met in the armory of Company F. and with about thirty or more friends enjoyed to the fullest one of the best Barbe cue ever given m or around frank linton. Mr. High the "chief barbe cue cooker" prepared the cue, and after everybody was satisfied music was furnished by the Cornet Band until a late hour.
