Mr. Gilbert T. Stephenson of Win,
ston-Salejm, delivered an eloquent ad
dress to the people of Ingleside March
19, on the war and war saving, cam
palgn, which was very beneficial to
the many who were present. The
speaker waa introduced by Mr. Will
Yarborough, of Louisburg. "We were
glad to have Mr. E. L. Best and oth
er visitors of Loui8burg with us also.'
After Mr. Stephenson's address, Mr.
Yarborough organized -a war saving,
society among the ladies of the neigh
borhood, eflectlng Mrs. R. D. Pernell
as president, and Mrs. A. A._ Dement
as secretary. We hare also organized
a society of eighteon members in our
gchool, electing Miss Garnette Myers
as president. Miss Elizabeth?Manning
as secretary, and Misses Ora Holden.
Llllie Edwards, and Irene Dickerson
as Program "Committee. We will have
our first meeting Monday, March 25,
and we hope to add more membert to
our list on this meeting.

visit to relatives and friends of Ring,
