RIS TOWNSHIP.
Notice is hereby given that, in ac
cordance with the provisions of An
Act of the General Assembly of North
Carolina. Session of 1919. entitled "An
Act to Provide Good Roads in
Harris Township. Franklin County,"
being House Bill No. 279, Senate Bill
No. 341, ratified the 11th day of Feb
ruary. 1919. and upon the petition of
the duly appointed and constituted |
"Township Road Commission of Harris
Township. -
The Board of CommissJoners for
the County of Franklin does hereby
order an election to be held on Sat
urday. April 12th.. 1919. in said town
ship. at which election there shall be
submitted to the qualified voters of
Hafris township the issuance of!
$50,000.00 of Road Bonds of said town
ship, and the levy of a special tax to
provide for the payment of interest
and create a sinking fund for the pay-,
ment of said bonds, for the purpose
of providing and constructing good
roads in said township under ^he
terms and provisions of said special
act of the General Assembly. daid
bonds shall run for a period of thirty
years from date and shall be^r six
per cent per annum interest, payable
semi-annually. /
Said special act of the General As
sembly expressly provides fnat all
laws in conflict with this act are re
pealed so far as same relate/to Harriir
Township, and all laws heretofore en
acted for said township are repealed.

and W. R. Young and Jr.. J. Young
are appointed pollholder^ for the said
election. The voting pla/re shall be at
Hagwood's store in said township, and

present discussion and the decisions
reached in advising the various peace
commissions when the covenants com

peace conference at Paris.
