Our new school room is nearing com pletion. We hope to begin using it by last of the week. ^ The Basket Ball season has arrived and the court is almost finished. The I fun of playing will soon begin. Miss Fannie Lillian Massenburg has been added to our corps of teachers thus bringing the number up to five. Last Thursday a Thanksgiving ser vice was held at White Level church. A program was rendered by some of the school children which was greatly enjoyed by all. The collection of "One Day's Work for the Orphans'' was taken and quite a neat sum real ized. The Fiddler's Convention and Bix party at the Academy was quite a suc cess. Everybody enjoyed the even ing. The proceeds amounted to $267.82, which will be expended for a lighting plant for the church and school building.
