Foster spent Sunday with their wives who are camping at~Panacea Springs. Mr. Percy Murphy visited Frank, linton Sunday. We will have two cotton gins run ning at Gupton this season, one by J. D. Alston and the other by Orris Murphy and J. E. Gupton. Miss Llllie Harper and Miss Louise Parrish <visited friends in Warreuton the past wtek. . - The farmers are about through housing their tobacco for this season and are beginning to pick cotton. We are glad to note that Dr. J. B. Williams is improving some. Mr. J. R. Parrish and family spent Sunday at Panacea Springs. The newly organized Sunbeam Band at Mt . Zion church Is doing fine and we hope this good work will con tinue. Wilson Parrish Is president, Mary Lee Harris, secretary and Ruf fln Harper, treasurer. Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Tharrington visited Hehderson Sunday afternoon. ^Little Misses Lucy Stuart and Ida Stuart Parrish spent last week with their cousins, Misses Dorothy and Gertrude Foster of Loulsburg. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Cooper, of Loulsburg, spent Sunday afternoon . with their sister, Mrs. Lucie Foster.^ Quite a number of the W. M. aC members of Mt. Zion attended /fie Association of the W. M. S. at War renton last Thursday and Friday, which was enjoyed greatly. Mr. W. B. Leonard, who Is buying tobacco for J. P. Taylor, of Warsaw spent the week end with his parents here. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. History and Science are met, each have difficult problems we must encounter. Last but not least comes Latin. Latin Is the dread of every Freshman's heart, because it seems selfish and does not want to mingle with the other studies. But when Latin says "Come on boys an girls, you won't find me as hard as you thought ? and Just as soon a? you learn to translate me we'll be friends" We begin to even like Latin.
