TO OUR PATRONS
We have made arrangements with the American
Cotton Association for a limited number of copies of
"Cotton News." This paper is published twice a
mopth by the Association and teaches the latest and
most economic cultural methods for fighting boll wee
vil, its control and diversification of crops.
We wish to get this paper in the hands of those who
are interested, and to this end we will send one year to
the first one hundred and fifty names and addresses
sent us. If you wish this paper please advise us at once.
We also expect to arrange to have an experimental
farm w;th supervisor from the American Cotton Asso
ciation, due notice of which will be given through the
columns of the Franklin Times.
The prosperity of our County is dependent upon our
fighting the boll weevil. . . He is here, and here to stay,
but cotton can be made profitably under boll weevil
conditions.
Yours sincerely,
