The value of manufactured products of the South in 1921, the latest avail able census figures, was $6^*77 000,000, which was more than four times the value of 1900 and twice as crgat as 1910. The cotton mill captal of the South exceeds $1,000,000,000. as compared with $361,000,000 In 1910. and is great er than the total capital thus la-rested In the United Stcten In 1910.
