Notice Is hereby given that In ac cordance with the provisions of Chap ter 70, Article 6, Section# 3696 and 3097 and subsequent Sections in aald article Consolidate Statutes 1919, laws of North Carolina, and upon the pe tition of more than 36 per cent of the qualified voters of said Township, the Board of Commissioners for the Coun ty of Franklin does hereby order an election to be held on Saturday Feb ruary 28, 1926, In said Township, at which election there shall be submit ted to the voters of Hayesvllle Town ship the question of the ^evy of a spe cial tax to provide for a bond issue net to exceed 826,000 for the purpose of providing good roads in said Town ship under the terms and provisions of said Chapter 70, Article 6, Sections 3(90 and 3697 and subsequent Sec tions In said Article, Consolidated Sta tutes 1919, laws of North Carolina. The said bonds shall mature serially as follows: The first five bonds In the sum of $1,000 each shall mature Men. nially, the first bond to mature two years after date of Issue, and the re maining four bonds biennially there after; the last 20 bonds in the sum of $1,000 each shall mature annually, the first of said 20 bonds to mature one year after the maturity of the lest bond of the series of five, and the remaining 19 bonds annually there after; the last of said bonds to ma ture 30 years from date of issue. L. O. Frailer Is appointed Registrar and J. H. Qoodson and Geo. T. Ayscue are appointed poll holders, for said election. The voting place shall be at Ayscue's store, the usual voting place In said township, and fhe said election shall be held and conducted as Is provided in the general election laws of the State. Those voting for said tax levy and issuance of road bonds shall deposit a ballot upon which there shall be written of printed "For Road Bonds" and those voting against the levy of said tax and issuance of road bonds shall deposit a ballot upon which there shall be written or printed, "Against Road Bonds." A new registration is ordered and the registration books will be kept open for such purpose at Ayscue's store in said Township as provided by law for twenty days, beginning Saturday January 31, 1926, and closing Saturday February 21, 1926.
