C., 5s second class matter. THE Town Commissioners at their meeting Thursday night of last week. directed their attorney to lay plans j before them for consideration looking 1 to placing the town on a City Mana ger basis. This is the continuation of the efforts of Dr. Fleming to bring about a change in the financial man agement of the town begun two years ago. THE overwhelming results of Sat urday's election is a source of satis faction and pride to the people who love Louisburg and its historic tradi tions. That the voters have told the world that the community is still on I the forward march of progress is' shown in the strongest terms. That the parents have shown to the child ren of the district that they still love them and want to provide them with the best there is, is more than evident. And the rebuke to those who besmirch the good name and good intentions of the community is pronounced.' The vote represents the strongest kind of endorsement to the Trustees and is so accepted with great satisfaction to these who are directly responsible for the new building. Louisburg can always be counted upon to do the big and wise thing. MR. AND MRS. L. L. JOYNER EN TERTAIN FOR MK. AND MRS. HARRELL J. LEWIS ? ho beautiful home of Mr. anil Mrs. L>. L.
