Owing to the heat the meeting will be held in the basement of the Baptist church a9 this is much cooler than the demonstration office. First we elec ted new officers who were as follows: President. Mary White Nash; Vice President. Sarah Eaton; Secretary, Klla Mltchiner; Treasurer, Cathrine Perry. MUs Caldwell told us about the girl's short course to be held in Raleigh, and the county encampment which will be held at Balance Rock, Aug. 17th. Then we were shown liow to draft a pattern. Refreshments were screed which consisted of lemonade and cake. We adjourned to meet Monday, July 13th with Mrs. J. A. Mltchiner The Mltchiner Girl's Club held a meeting at Mrs. J. A Mltchiner's July 13th. The Club was called to order by the president and the roll and minutes read by the secretary. It was sug gested that the name of the club be changed from the Mltchiner's Club to the Daisy Club In honor of Miss Daisy Caldwell who Is our Home Agent. A motion to this effect carried. A., the Hen derson Boy Scouts, the Louisburg Boy Scouts, the Vance County Club boys' and girls, and the Franklin County Club boys and girls. These organiza tions use the camp In turn. The date of Franklin County Club Camp is Au gust 18th to 22nd. There Is no more beautiful camp site in this part of the state than Bal ance Rock. It is located about six miles from Mltchlner's Cross Roads at what was formerly called Whltakers MM. The old mill house is used for sleeping quarters In addition to ths olub house recently built by the mil. Q. A. .
