Wilder died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at tha homo of her daughter Mrs. Percy Bdwards. She was bom February 88. 1*44. and waa 81 years old at the time of her death She wm a member of a well knowa family, with many connections la Franklin county. ???? Before her marriage Mrs. Wilder was Miss Sarah Freeman. She waa' bom near Laulsburc and (cent het girlhood them She wm adkriied to Mr. J. J. Wilder In 1874 bd spent the greater part of her married lite B JoU ' near Perry's Chapel, the oM church of which she waa a member until her death. Since 1W8 she has made.her home In Franklinton and has many friends hem who grieve at her death ?? The funeral services took place at Perry's Chapel Sunday afternoon and the body was interred at the Chapel cemetery a tew miles from Frank. Union. The services were In charge' of Rev. S. R Blantoa, her jjhstnr, as sisted by Rev. hi H Da via, pastor of the Methodist church of Frank-' Union. Mrs. Wilder is survived by one, daughter, Mm. Percy Bdwards of Franklinton; two stepsons, Mr. Char Ue Wilder of Bunn and Mr. Reuben Wilder of Knightdale and one step daughter, Mrs. B. p. Kearney, of Asheville. Several of her grandsons, assisted by Mr. 8. J. lane, Jr? acted as pallbearers. These were Messrs. Fred, JuHan, William and Henry Wilder, and Mr. Charlie Bottom, a grandson by marriage. Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mm. Charlie Wil der and family of Bunn, Mr and Mra Reuben Wilder and family of Knight dale, Messrs. John Trees, Reuben and Ed May and families of Spring Hope, Mr. and Mra. fiddle House, of Knight dale, Mr. and Mra. George. Curry, of Cary and Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Lane, of Henderson. Hosts of friends paid trlbnte to the deceased with beautiful floral offer ings and by attendance at the fun eral.
