Committee. j DEATH OF BRYANT UlUIAM Bryant Gilliam, age 40. was seriously injured in an automobile wreck Friday afternoon, December 17. and died the following Tues day. December 21. in the Memori al Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. The funeral services were held from the home Wednesday after noon, December 22. at 2:00, by Rev. Bunn Ferrell, and interment was made in the family plot at , the Saint Delight Church, Bryant became a member of White Level Church when a boy. Later, when his couutry needed him for service in the World War. he answered t-he call, and served until the close of the War. Then he returned to his ^tome near White Level. The esteem in which he was held was shown by the large crowd in attendance to the services, attS~ the many beautiful flowers. He was a good husband and neighbor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie Dickens Gilliam, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Gilliam, one sister.
