posium held in Greensboro
March 19-21. The three-day
meet drew together nearly 100
hlgh ability students In science
from throughout the state.

ered by Colonel Nils M. Beng
ston, commanding officer of
the United States Army Re
search Office, Durham, spon
sors of the Symposium, and by
Dr. C. Bruce Lee, Washington,
D. C. , professional associate,
international Organizations and
Programs, National Academyof
Sciences, National Research
Council.
The visiting scientists witnes
sed demonstrations performed
by six high school students who
have completed experiments in
basic research and heard lec
tures by a series of speakers
in various fields of science.
While at A & T College the
youngsters had an opportunity
to observe research studies in
science at the-College.

Revival Begins At Sandy Creek
Revival Services will begin
at Sandy Creek Baptist Church
on Wednesday, March 25, and
continue through March 29.
Services will begin at 7:30 p.m.
each night.
