Mrs. Harris, Sr.| Entertains Amicitia Club Mrs. G. C. Harris, Sr. wasj hostess to the Amicitia Club on Thursday afternoon with the following members Mesdames L. L. Brlnkley, & N. William son, H. M. Stovall, F. M. Fuller, M. M. Person, Sr. and guests Mesdames Grace M. Stalllngs and J, B. Hlght playing. High scorer for the afternoon was Mrs. Harris for members and Mrs. Stalllngs fof guests. A delicious dessert course was served. Mrs. Hodges Entertains Mrs. John Hodges was hos tess to her bridge club on Thursday evening with three tables playing. Lovely arrange ments of camellias were used to decorate her home. Following three progressions, high score prize was presented to Mrs. J. B. Wheless and low score to Mrs. E. C. Bulluck for members and the recipient of the high score for guests was Mrs. M. M. Person, Jr. The hostess served a delicious dessert course with salted nuts and coffee to the following mem bers: Mesdames J. B. Wheless, E. C. Bulluck, Mary F. Lump kin, K. K. Allen, B. B. Prultt, Harold Talton, Woodrow War ren, B. L. Patterson, Betsy S. Lavender and guests, Mes dames M. M. Person, Jr., Arch Wilson and Hugh Wilson. Debbie Gupton, prayer chair man, led In prayer for the Missionaries on the Prayer Calendar, followed by a short business session. The hymn for the evening was "Give of Your Best to the Master." Patricia Hamlet, Secretary, 'called the roll and read the minutes of the last meeting. The devotional scripture reading, Malachi 3-10, and prayer were given by Tony Gup ton. Due to the absence of the pro gram chairman, Margaret Jones was in charge of the pro gram entitled "Blessed Are You.*' All the members assist ed Margaret with the program.
