HAMLET dances on stagfc." The Players are readying air April 23-25 production of the play in celebration of Shake- j speare's 400th anniversary. About the character of Hamlet: "Every audience's delight and every actor's dream. He is everything, all at once. Our Hamlet as Bill Williamson is; playing him reminds me of sun rise lightning striking a moun tain stream ? in technicolor." Who is the ideal audience for HAMLET? "Age eight and up; children are charmed by it. Recently a Scandinavian walked 12 miles through snow to see a touring company in HAMLET so he could find out how it ended. I guess he would make the ideal audience. Don't* forget that Shakespeare made his bread and butter by knowning how to capti vate an audience. And he didn't die of starvation."
