Tesh-Simpson Vows Spoken MRS DONALD RAY TESH Vacation Bible Schools Begin The Harris Chapel Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 13-17. It will begin at 8:00 a.m. and dismiss at 11:00 a.m. The teachers have been working hard and have an interesting school planned. Refreshments will be served daily and a picnic is planned for the last day. Commencement will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. On this night movies will be shown taken while the school was in progress. The Rev. Robert Melvln, chaplain at Mars Hill College, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Flody Simpson of Aurora, fortnerlyof Frankllnton, are parents of the bride. The bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Aaron T?sh of Winston Salem. Nuptial music was presented by Mrs. David Lee Trlplette, organist, and soloist was the bridegroom. Given In marriage . by her father, the bride wore a floor length formal gown with skirt and chapel train of whne peau de sole; bodice and long sleeves of reembroldered alencon lace; skirt and \raln edged with mattering lace appliques and seed pearls. Miss Judy Lowe of Hlaleah, Florida was maid of honor. She wore a floor length gown of mint green nylon organdy over tafetta. She carried a bouquet of daisies with matching head piece of daisies. The six children attendants were: Jill Beshears and Melanle Leaman of Winston Salem, Deb bie Isom of Norfolk, Virginia, Pat Mitchell of Durham, Karen Wyatt of Kannapolls and Angle Perklnson of Frankllnton. They wore mint green floor length gowns of nylon organdy with taffeta sashes tied in the back. They carried baskets of daisies with matdhlng head pieces of daisies. Mr. Clyde Aaron Tesh, father of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Michael Joynei of Hampton, Virginia; Steve Tesh,' Terry Swlcegood and Gafy Hill all of Winston Salem The bride Is a graduate of Frankllnton High School and Mars Hill College. She was a teacher at Leaksville School. Her husband Is a graduate of Griffith High School In Winston Salem and Mars Hill College. He Is now the minister of music at the First Baptist Church in Franklin, North Carolina. After a weddiilg trip to the South Carolina coast, the couple will reside in Franklin, N.C. The bride's parents gave a reception in the social room of the Antloch Baptist Church following the ceremony. Homecoming The Cypress Chapel Ifeptlst Church will observe lis annual Homecoming Day on Sunday, June 19th. All members, former Pastors, former members and friends are cordially Invited to attend. The Rev Max Evlngton will be guest minister for the afternoon session. He Is a former Pastor and is now re siding at Jackson, N. C. where he Is mliUsterlng to two churches.
