Kathy Phelps, presi dent, called the meeting to order while Erma Collier and Nancy Smith led the pledge to allegiance and the 4-H pledge. During a short business meet ing Mrs. Wilson reminded the 4-H'ers of demonstration contests to be held iri October. A new member Joined the club. The program was presented by Carroll Mode, Junior Leader, on the topic of Better Grooming. The clubdlscussed hair care, complexion care, the importance of diet and exercise and the care and se lection of clothes. Marsha Collier assisted Miss Mod* with experiments in hair styl ing. Several clothing and crafts exhibits were displayed by the 4-H'ers.
