Hurricanes Take ECC Frosh, 70-61 The Lou Is burg Hurricanes turned a tight battle with the East Carolina College fresh men Into a 70-61 Tlctory last night. ECC led moat of the first half but never by more than seven points. The score was tied 28-28 at half time. The score Jumped back and forth at the start of the second half. Floyd Wlngfleld put Lou Is burg ahead 42-40 with 13:40 left and the 'canes never fell behind again. Wlngfleld proved to be the star of the game. He pumped In 18 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Pete Eyer was a real hawk on defense. Other leading scorers were Tom Bell with 13, Roger Taylor with 11, and Chris Stlnson added 12 points.
