Commencement Exercises Announced
Youngsville
The Baccalaureate Sermon
at Youngsville High School will
be held Sunday morning at
11:00 a.m. in the Youngsville
High School Auditorium with
Rev. Floyd Benfleld, pastor
of Flat Rock Baptist Church,
delivering the sermon.
The Graduation exercises
will be held Wednesday, M4y
31, at 8 p.m. In the auditori
um. Addresses will be given
by seniors Ralph Brown,
Catherine Cash, and Paulette
Roberts.
Marshals are: Vickie
Wheeler, Chief, C. L. Wrenn,
assistant chief, Pam Hart,
Elaine Murphy, Rommle Cat
lette, Jo Ann Frazler, Morris

MARGARET WESTON
(Frk. B.W.) Margaret Als
ton Weston, a Senior at Frank
llnton High School, has been
selected to appear In the 1966
67 edition of Merit's Who's
Who among American High
School Students.
Margaret is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Wes
ton of Frankllnton. This year
she Is President of the Future
Homemakers of America,
Vice-President of the Beta
Club, Co-editor and Business
Manager of the FRAN OCA,
Secretary of her class, Class
Historian, and superlative
Most Likely to Succeed. Mar
garet has also been President
of the Glee Club, Vice-Presi
dent of the Future Teachers
of America, Vice-President
of the Future Homemakers of
America, Co-captain of the
football cheerleaders, and
Captain of the basketball
cheerleaders.
Every year that she has
been In high school, Mar
garet has received an Honor
Roll certificate, a Perfect
Attendance certificate, and
been a member of the Mono
gram Club. Her Sophomore
and Junior years she was
chosen to attend Governor's
School; her Freshman and
Sophomore years Margaret
received an NEDT award. Last
year she was Chief Marshal,
mastered a leading role In
the Junior Play, was nomi
nated for the NCTE award,
and attended Girls' State dur
ing the summer.
Margaret has recently been
named Valedictorian of her
class and received Honorable
Mention In the State French
Test.
Less than three percent (3%)
of the graduating seniors from
participating schools through
out the country are recom
mended for this honor.

School Students represents the
culmination of a distinguished
high school career for Mar
