Community News Youngsville Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Phillips and children, Steve and Les lie, spent the weekend at a camp near Myrtle Beach. Dr. Thomas H. Bland was guest Minister at the Youngs ville Baptist Church on Sun day. Mr, and Mrs. G. 0. Wiggins and son spent the weekend at the beach at Morehead. Mrs. Mary Timber lake re turned to her home here dur ing the weekend after spend ing several months in Raleigh with her daughter, Mrs. Mary T. Todd. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wood lief and family and Brenda Cooley spent the*day Sunday at Morehead and points of interest in that area. Justice Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bow den and daughter Michelle from Wilson were weekend guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Onnie Bowden. Mrs. Edith Fleming from Rocky Mount came Wednes day afternoon and had supper with Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Wicks. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Walker from Durham and Mr. -Graham Maynard.from Nor folk, Va. visited in the home Friday and Mr. Harold Wicks and daughter Lorri from Dur ham came Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce May and girts LsRue and Cindy from Raleigh and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. May from Rocky Mount visited Mr. and Mrs. Bertice May Saturday and Sunday guest were Mr. nd Mrs. Joe Savage from near Spring Hope. Mrs. Joseph B. Perry and children, Donna and Ken, from Raleigh spent the day Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Carden and family. Miss Jo Anne Carden went home with them and stayed until Sunday afternoon when her mother went- for her. Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Perry from Apex spent Sunday night and Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Perry. Franklinton Mr. and Mrs. A1 R. Morton had as their guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Hal Morton of Raleigh, Mr. and Mrs. Flem ing Morton, also of Raleigh, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Morton of Rocky Mount. They attended memorial services at Pope's Church and afterward had lunch with the Mortohs. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lloyd of Wake Forest, Mrs. Leola Fleming of Raleigh, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Worley of Raleigh and Mrs. Minnie Ross of Hen derson were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Flvis Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cash of Atlanta, Georgia have re turned home after visiting rel atives in Franklinton.
