Methodist Church, Sunday,
June 15. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Stuart Cutts, 203 Grove St,,
and the bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Stal
lings, Sr. of Pine Cone Drive
and formerly of Louisburg.

The bride, given in marri
age by her father, wore a
formal gown of silk organza
over taffeta designed with a
cowl neckline, puffed sleeves,
empire waistline and column
skirt. Alencon lace accented
the neckline, midrif arid bor
dered the hem. Her full
length veil of pure sitk illu
sion fell from a band of braid
ed seed pearls. She carried a
nosegay of white rosebuds
and ivy centered with a white
orchid.
The bride's sister. Miss
Pamela Cutts, was the maid
of honor. Other attendants

with matching headpieces of
a bow and flush veil.
Miss Cynthia O'Neal Cutts,
sister of the bride, was flower
girl. She wore a short white
dress and a halo of flowers on
her head. James Kapland Stal
lings, brother of the groom,
was ringbearer.

yellow silk and rayon with a
yoke of white baby lace, cap
sleeves, matching shoes and
hat. She also wore an orchid
corsage.
Mrs. Stallings is a 1969
graduate of J. F. Webb High
School. She will enter Camp
bell College in the tall as a
freshman. Mr. Stallings is a
graduate of Louisburg ' High
School, attended Louisburg
College and is a rising senior
at Campbell College.
After the ceremony the
bride's parents gave a recep
tion in fellowship hall of the
church. A pink and white
color scheme was carried out.
Bridal cake, punch, mints and
nuts were served to approxi
mately 300 guests.
The bride's going away
costume> included a street
length dress of hot pink with
a multi-colored scarf at the
neck. She wore while acces
sories including the orchid
from her wedding bouquet.
After a wedding trip, the
couple will live in Buies
Creek.

which took place on June 11,
1919 at the Gordon Street
Christian Church in Kinston,
North Carolina.
A gold color scheme was
carried out in the decorations
and refreshments. On Ihe
mantle in the front room
were arrangements of white
majestic daisies and white
mums flanked by gold
candles in brass cahdlehold
ers. Arrangements of gold
mums, daisies and gold glads
were used at focal points
through out the house.
The dining room table was
covered with a Madeira cut
work cloth upon which was a
centerpiece of gold mums,
daisies, pale yellow carna
tions. yarrow and stattce. The
three tiered anniversary cake,
with the number 50 on top,
graced one end of the table.
The silver service, on the
credenza, was flanked by gold
candles in silver candelabras.
Mrs. Cooke wore a yellow
throated white orchid and
Mr, Cooke wore a yellow
carnation boutonniere, which
were-gifts of Mr. and Mr*.
William Koontz of Lovell,
Wyoming. Mrs. Koonlz is a
sister of Mrs. Cooke.

balls, and bridal mints were
served in the dining room
with raspberry-pineapple
punch. The table was center
ed with sweetheart rose buds
and white pompoms floating
in a large crystal bowl nested
in bridal spray and greenery
on a silver tray. This arrange
ment was flanked by white
tapers.

ers, the eight bridal atten
dants. and friends and rela
tives of the bridal couple.

and a gold-plated cake server
by the hostess.
