of Dr. and Mrs. Edgar William
Meiser, 638 State Street, Lan
caster, Pennsylvania, was so
lemnized Saturday, August
16, 1969 at two o'clock in
the afternoon in St. Mark's
Lutheran Church. The Re
verend John W. Kammerer,
pastor of the bride, officiated
at the double-ring ceremony.
The church sanctuary was
decorated with urns of white
asters, carnations and stock
flanked by brass candlesticks
containing white tapers.
Prior to the ceremony,
Mrs. Leonard Mauer, organist,
presented a program of nup
tial music. For the proces
sional, Mrs. Mauer played the
"Bridal Chorus" from Lohen
grin by Wanger and for the
recessional "The Wedding
March" by Mendelssohn.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a for
mal gown of silk organza with
a portrait neckline designed
with an empire bodice and
elbow length sleeves of Alen
con lace embellished with
seed pearls. The A-line skirt
was trimmed with a double
border of Alencon lace. A
Watteau chapel train fell from
the back of the gown. Her
silk illusion veil was held by a
Dior bow. She carried a Co
lonial bouquet of rubrum
lilies, stephanotis and English
ivy.
Mrs. Charles David Bink
ley, sister of the bride, was
matron of honor. She wore a
full length, yellow silk dress
with a portrait neckline fea
turing an empire bodice and
short sleeves of white ruffles.
Her head piece was a white
bow. She carried a bouquet
of daisies and English ivy.
The bridesmaids were Miss
Sally Meiser of Lancaster,
Pennsylvania, sister of the
bridegroom; Mrs. Barry Mark
ley of Portsmouth, New
Hampshire; Miss Rosemary
Bianfchini of Bristol, Pennsyl
vania and Mis Susan Delaney
of Wilmington, Delaware.
They wore gowns identical
in style and color to that of
the matron of honor and they
too carried bouquets oif
daisies and English ivy.
Dr. Edgar William Meiser
served as his son's best man.

For her daughter's wed
ding, Mrs. Hofmann wore a
mint green peau de sole dress
with matching accessories and
a cymbidium orchid corsage.
The groom's mother wore
a turquoise silk and lace gown
with matching accessories.
She wore a white orchid cor
sage.
The bride graduated from
West Chester State College in
June. She was elected to the
1969 edition of Who's Who in
Colleges and Universities of
America. She was a member
of Alpha Phi Sigma sorority
and now has a graduate assis
tantship in physical education
I at The Pennsylvania State
University.
The bridegroom is a gra
dilate of Franklin and Mars
hall College where he was a
member of Lambda Chi fra
ternity. He now has a gra
duate assistantship in geology
at The Pennsylvania State
University.
The bride's parents honor
ed the couple at a reception
at the Conestoga Country
Club. Music was by George
Singer and his orchestra.
After a wedding trip to
Andros Island in the Baha
mas, the couple will reside at
University Park, Pennsyl
vania.
The bride is the niece of
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stegall

was attired in an exquisite
gown of Angel-skin peau
fashioned in classic A-line sil
houette. Crystal and pearl
beading adorned the alencon
lace and she carried a bou

tered with an orchid.

McNeill of Fayetteville was

tumes were modified A-line
gowns of Jakarta, floor
length, and in candy pink.
Each featured Venice lace
accented by velvet ribbon
running through the neckline
and in the center of the flow
ing back panel. They added
matching headpieces and car
ried white chrysanthemums
edged in pink.

carried matching bouquets,
