Community News Justice Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Whetess and boyi. Tarry and Danny bom Durham were weekend guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Rice. Mr. and Mrs. John Rice and children from Durham came Sunday after noon. Mr. Kenny Baker from Carolina Beach was a week end guest in the home of Mr. nd Mrs. Howard Carden. Mr. Mark Hayes was in Rocky Mount Sunday for the funeral of Mrs. Ralph Hayes' father, Mr. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rice visited Mr. and Mrs. Willard Boone and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Boone at Butner Sunday afternoon then ate supper with Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Boone. Mrs. Raye Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Macleod Perry and children Chris, Dianne and Johnny and Mr. and Mis. Wesley Perry from Durham attended the Homecoming at Duke MemoriarJ-^Sunday morning then visited the Howard Cardens and Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Perry that after noon. Rev. and Mrs. Albert A. Peverall, Jr. and children. Keith, Joy, Troy and Tracy -Lynn from Marshall, N. C. spent Saturday night with Mrs. Eunice Bunn. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Pever all, Sr. from Roanoke, Va. were here Sunday for the Homecoming and to see their son and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Leon O'Briant and son James Leon from Raleigh visited Mrs. Eunice Bunn Saturday night and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bunn and son from Raleigh came Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dunn attended a birthday dinner at Wilson Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Caton - honoring Mr. Caton. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Gibson from Winston Salem were guest of Mrs. Mary S. Wil liams from Saturday until Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Causey from Roanoke Rapids visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Williams and children Jonathan and Adair Sunday afternoon. Youngsville Mrs. Herbert Cash and her sister Mrs. Stancil Woodlief celebrated their birthday Sat urday night at Hartman's steak House in Durham with their husbands. Also, with them were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frazier of Butner and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Frazier of Franklinton. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Hill and son Jim of GastQQia Sunday were Mr. and Mis. B. -- P. Holden and daughter Genny and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Holden. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hudson vacationed in the Morehead Beach area during the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moss were at VES during the week end to visit with Jimmie and to attend Homecoming events. Louisburg Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Wilder and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mur phy returned home on Tues day from Cleveland, Ohio, after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ed Darden and family. Mrs. Dar den is the former Martha Lou Murphy. Franklinton Mrs. Bertha Speed, Miss Nan Green, Mrs. J. J. Barnes of Kaleigh were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Green, Jr. Mrs. John Green visited Mr. and Mrs/ Jim Taylor in Greensboro during the' week end. Mrs. J. O. Green, Sr. is visiting her sister in Menola. Mrs. Bernie Edwards has gone to Germany to live with her husband who is stationed near Heidelberg.
