Deaths MRS. LILLIAN EARL RAY NOB Mn. Lillian Earl Grey Ray nor, 44, of Route 2, Louis burg died early Wednesday morning at Franklin Me morial Hospital following a lengthy Ill ness. She was a na tive of Franklin County and the daughter of the late Alvin Grey and Mrs. Minnie Burnette Grey, who survives. Mrs. Raynor was active in the Centerville Baptist Church for many years and assisted in coaching the girl's basketball team at Gold Sand for several seasons. She served as manager of the Gold Sand lunch room before illness forced her retirement. Funeral services were held today at 3 P.M. from the Centerville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Lyman Wilson and Rev. W. P. Child ers. Burial followed in the church cemetery. She is survived by' her hus band, George M. Raynor, Jr., a daughter, Cynthia Ann Ray nor of Durham; a son, George M. Raynor, III, her mother; a brother, A. C. Grey of Le noir, a sister, Mrs. Athleen Leonard of Portsmouth, Va. and one grandchild. THOMAS DEAN FAULKNER Thomas Dean Faulkner, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Edward Faulkner of Louisburg, born Franklin Memorial Hospital Tuesday, died Tuesday after living 4 hours and 23 minutes. Graveside services were held at the Faulkner Family Cemetery Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Norwood Jones officiating. Surviving other than his parents, are three sisters, Mrs. Linda Perdue, of Louisburg, Connie and Debbie of the home; three brothers. Billy Bruce of Raleigh, Danny and Johnny of the home , pater nal grandmother, Mrs. Lizzie Faulkner of Route 2, Warren ton and hit maternal grand father, Howard Pernell of Rt. 2, Warrenton. B S Campaign Underway Youngsville - The annual Boy Scout Fund-raising cam paign is now uriderway in Youngsville under the leader ship of Mr. James E. Under wood. A Kick-off meeting was held at the Community House Monday night, Novem ber tenth, in conjunction with the Lions Club meeting; as the Lions Club is the spon soring organization for the local troop. Mr. Underwood has two sons in the local troop and he and his wife have long been active supporters of Boy Scouting. The family has moved back to their home in Youngsville after living for several years in Raleigh and Atlanta; where they continu ed interest in scouting through assistance and parti cipation in various scouting events.
