M. Cupp, announced today that a new "Service Award Program" has been created by Rose's Stores, Inc. Yesterday' Rose's Superinten dent, Mr. R. E. Laughter, ?' presented ladies brooch pins and combination men's tie tac, lapel pins to the fol lowing members of the local Rose's organization: S. M. Cupp, manager; Leon Spen cer, Josephine Harris. Manager Capp stated that through the award program recognition of accomplish ment and years of service were bemg made as a token of appreciation. Superintendent Laughter described the award pins as being made of 10k gold with a antiqued yellow gold Rose's crest on a white gold base mounted with sapphires or diamonds; depending on the years of service. A letter of thanks and congratulations from Mr. L. H. Harvin, Jr., President of Rose's Stores, Inc., was also presented to each recipient. Scouts Have Christmas Party Youngsville ?? The Boy' Scout Troop had their Christ mas Party at the Boy Scout Hut under the leadership of Scoutmaster N. A. Brown and assistant leader W. R. Evans.
