On Dean's List The Registrar's Office an nounced today that Miss Geuldine Harts field a fresh man at Durham Business Col lege, has received outstanding recognition for achieving high academic standards and being placed upon the Dean's List for the fall quarter. Miss Hartsfield is a gradu ate of Louisburg High School, Louisburg, N. C. and the daughter of Mrs. Ossie Harts field Route 1, Louisburg. ** ? Miss Etheleen Hartsfield of -Bunn and John E. Alford of Louisburg are listed among the 85 students who attained the Dean's List for the Fall Quarter at W. W Holding Institute in Raleigh and are both citejJ for perfect (4.0) average. Plant Manager Lamar .Greene (L) and Weaving Supervisor Epp Catlett (R>, expressed sincere appreciation for the faithful work and loyal service exhibited by Mrs. Stroud and the other twenty Franklinton Fabrics Quarter Century Club members. During the December 19th ceremony. Plant Superintendent Roy Holland also congratulated Mrs. Stroud and talked about the importance of the Quarter Century Club members to the company. The kings were Jerry Lee Perry, Raody Satterwhite and Sammy Fishel. Mary was portrayed by Shelia Kearney and Joseph by Barney Person. This project is sponsored by the Woman's Missionary Society under the leadership of Mrs. Clara Hart and Mrs. T. E. Lindsey. The Society has set a goal of three hundred dollars for the local church. Contributions will be received until the last of December. A Christmas program of music was presented at the evening worship service under the direction of Mrs. A. N. Corpening with Mrs. Al De Porter as accompanist.. The two children's choirs render ed selections first. The- You n? People's Choir then presented "the Cantata, "Petite Noel." After the grogram, indivi dual classes had Christmas parties in their Sunday School classroom, except for adults who gathered in the assembly room for refresh menu. Candlelight and Christ, mas decorations lent holiday spirit to the program. ?? Christmas Cantata Presented (Frk. B.W.) A Christmas Cantata. "Night of Miracles", was presented at the Frank linton Baptist Church at 7 o'clock in the evening on Sunday. Mr. C. L. King was the director, who was accom panied by Mrs. Geneva King. The Rev.
