Fishing: There are numerous fishing spots within the immedi ate \ncinity of Goldsboro; Cliffs of the Neuse State Park. Neuse Riv er. Little River, various lakes, farm ponds and sand pits. Fish in clude bass, shad, bream, rock, rob- bin and catfish. Excellent fishing is found all'along the coast, only three hours drive away: Gulf Stream, inshore, trolling, surf cast ing, sound fishing, still fishing and pier fishing. Hunting: Within the immediate area can be found rabbits, squir rels, quail and foxes. Water fowl, deer, bear and other game are, found along the coast. Hunting and fishing license fees: state resi dent hunting, $3.10; combination hunting and hshing, $4.10; county hunting, $1.10; county fishing, $1.10. Licenses may be obtained from Hollajid Hardware, McBride and Herring, Music and Sports, Sears- Roebuck and Co., Cogdells Sport Center. Boating; There are numerous waterways within the immediate area for boating enthusiasts. The xWayne Outboard Motorboat Club with 65 members lakes boat trips throughout the year. Cliffs of the Neuse State Pai1: Located 13 miles southeast of Goldsboro on N. C. Highway 111; the park has 312 acres with paved roads, trails and paths leading to all parts of it. There is a lake for swimming and fishing, several pic nic, areas and a wonderful view from the 98 foot high cliffs. Herman Park: located' in the heart of the city’s residential area, the park contains 19 acres; it has tennis courts, playground equip ment, wading pool, picnic area and miniature train.
