Va., is vis iting Misses Rettie Howell, Ruth Sides and Roy.Pless, all of near Bostian Cross Roads. Venus took in the Rowan coun ty fair one day. We met lots of our old friends . We met one man at the fair who wore shoes 14 inches long. Can any one beat that. Venus birthday comes on October 31st and he is looking- for a shower of birthday post cards as usaal from readers of his items from all parts of the country and France and other countries. His items go to many parts of the world and he gets lots of mail from accross the ocean. Lots of people are going from Faith today to P A Hart man's sale, near Union church. Venus cjust got a fine postcard from one of his readers at Ma silian, Ohio, here it is: a visita of Mckinley National Memorial. Canton, Ohio. It was from C E Stahl. Clarence Kluttz has had a new residence built and is in it. J T Wyatt has shipped more paint mills, to grind paint than any one, in this county and still they come. BUI Barger is selling out at his store here. We notice that the correspon dent from Eastern Cabarrus has beat us on the pumpkin again. They found one that measured 59 by 69 inches so we give it up. The free school here at Faith starts the second Monday in November. All the parents are requested to have their children rtady for the opening school. uot oi new cotton is going through Faith today to market. Venus Profit Endorsed Woman Suifraga in State.
