While the treaty will be com municated to them in substance, it was said in well informed cir cles that it would be physically impossible to prepare the docu ment in it its complete final form in the four 'days remaining". .v China Oroya Farm Life School in Need of New Dormitory ' - ' Chin a Gro ve, April 19 Dr E C Brooks, State superintendent of public instruction, and Prof. T E Broame spent Friday-in ChiUa Grove and Salisbury, in an effort to add another dormitory to the Farm Life School at China Grove. 'The teachers and students, some l.wo hundred in number, assembled at the depot to greet 4he distinguished visitors. The situation and the needs of the in stitution and the officers and directors of the institution, a re view of the high school students, a short, but eloquent address by Dr Brooks and, luncheon at the Farm Life school concluded the visit. The afternoon was spent in Salisbury, where a special joint session of the county school board aud the county commissioner met Dr Brooks and the Farm Life school committee. Every phase of the matter, the new school laws recently enacted by the legislature and t)ae urgent need of an other dormitory to carry on the work successfully was presented by Dr Brooks and A.;H Boyden. A hearty endorsement was giv en by the farmers' union and the. county board of education, the county commissioners reserving ttfeir decision until their nex'; regular meeting, when it is as sumed the matter', will receive a most hearty approval.
