The men probably averaged $4 00 per day, or altogether $,000, which means a loss of $36000 for the week. State Labor Federation Defines "Recognition" James Barrett, cf the State Federation of Labor, informs .The Albemarle News in a tele gram from Raleigh dated August 12, that he interprets recognition of a union by an employer to mean 'To deal with the regular ly consitituted authorities of the Union through its committees with respect to wages, hours and working conditions."
