We acknowledge receipt of an invitation to attend the eleventh annual commence ment of Kinsey Seminary, La- urange, on June 1st,; second and third. The second annual meeting of the Alumnae Asso ciation will be held Thursday afternoon, June third.. This will be the last exercise iof the school at its present location. Next year Mr. Kinsey will oc cupy me new school which is being built here. i The trouble in Europe is not oyer yet. The real tug of .war, as we have before antici pated, is to come when the powers tackle the Turk in their mediation on behalf of Greece. T., May 14 Franklin Colly, who, at one time, was a candi date for delegate to Congress, was today sentenced to one year and six months in prison Tor blackmailing. Colly attempted j to extract hundreds of dollars from men and women to keep quiet about matters which Colly claimed if made public would cause a sensation. Wives were asked to pay $25 to get certain information about their husbands, and husbands were asked to pay money to get informa tion of alleged acts of wives.
