He left Wilson for his home at about 3 o'clock, tak ing the Stantonsburg road, discover ing his loss just as he crossed the bridge at Stantonsburg. The above amount while to some may not seem muchj it represents to Mitchel a heavy loss, the result of long days of labor and nights of watching.
