Mr. McKenzie rose to a question of inquiry, saying he was informed that last Friday a bill passed the house to repeal the stock law in Halifax county during certain months in the year; that a motii n was lodged to reconsider. The speaker was called on by Mr. Duf fy and Mr, McKenzie for a ruling and aid that after the bill baaVcome from the senate and passed the house a motion lodged to reconsider wag void and could not atop enrollment. That any one who sells or gives to any minor any cigarettes or any minor tound smoking cigarettts shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and when convicted shall be fined not more than 10 or imprisonment not more than thirty days.
