BACK TO BL'SINHSS Politics will now be temporarily laid aside and public attention will again belturned to business and the work of speeding the return to normal conditions. T.il't is elected president and cotton declined the day after. The result would have been the same had Bryan been vic torious, and the march toward prosperity will not be halted. As is usual at this period the atti- ! tude of all business is one of ex-1 pectancy. I he directors ot Dig enterprises await the result in 11 presidential election. Theelecnoii being over new orders will begin to roll in and the wheels now idle will begin again to turn. I he Southern cotton mills are show mg signs ot reawakened acnvity, and i abroad the nulls of all kinds are ' preparing to return to full time work, filling the dinner pail of the ; workingntau to overflowing and 1 bringing peace and happiness once more to the manufacturers and all alike. These saute conditions would have been noticeable had the Democratic candidate been elected. Both Ta!t and Bryan are strong, upright, honest men i'l their cnvictions and true to the general advancement and welfare of this nation. It is not true that the election of Bryan would have caused stagnation in business. This nation is strong enough and powerful enough to be prosperous under either party. Bemocracy is defeated, nationally, and al! good Democrats will gracefully accept defeat and remain loyal Anitncua citizens.
