Tne loiisc was crowded by an attentive audience, and 4 the singing , perfectly charming, no one that was there having, a love for music could have gone away feeling disappointed. Iu time, correctness of tone and sweetness of expression, : there was shown a thor ough training by those who have had this matter iu hand, and an aptness on the part of the school, such as is schjoih evinced by so large a chorus of voices. We, have not space nor time -to take up the prograinmeaud go through the different Solos,. Wc agree with the au thors of the urctest in the t Iicsrislatnre ft that "if Democrats do what Republicans bate been abused and ' condemned for doing, they cannot escape ju:st censure." Those who place themselves in opposition to their party should be 'classed hence forth with their opponents; let them be known as Radicals; strip off the lion skin and show them in their true colors. We dificr from the authors ' of the protest however, in this that wc do not believe in the purity of their motives j We think it a wanton and gratuitous affront to every decent white citizen, male oHlemalc.
