Such of our lady read?r3 as may own
canary birds are notified to be on the
lookout, for a pair of sparow-hawks
have beeu seen hovering over th9 city
during the past day or two, in several in
stances attacking birds jn their cages and
killing them. Two young ladic3 were
passing down Market street, near Fourth
yesterday afternoon, whoa they observed
a hawk alight on the cage 1 of a bird, as i
