We have been requested to urge upon the authorities the fact that now while the City Llall is being repaired would be- a good time to transfer the bell from the Market House to the top of the City Hall building. But we do not urge i, as we oppose such a thing. A cupola and bell on the top of the City Hall would be an eye sore and a blot on the looks of that handsome structure; It was never designed for such a thing and it would bo a hideous blot on the appearance of that fine building.
