Goldsboro Messenger: There is a disease prevailing iu some parts of the csuntry to a certain extent among horses. It commenoes with a swell ing on the chest, extending like a knotted ohain along the course of the jugular to the throat-latch, where the glands are enlarged and hard. It demands that bonds be paid in exact accordance with conditions of tbeir issue. A resolution was adopted that the convention deems it inexpedient to pet new candidates in tbe field.
