Hodges, who lives on Dock street, between Eighth and Ninth, and is employed in the wood depart ment of thehops ot tho Wilmington & Weldon Railroad, had the mislortune yesterday afternoon to fall from a stag ing in the shop to the floor by which he received severe and painful, although not serious injuries. He was at work upon the staging, which was quite nar row, when by some mis-step he fell, his head striking a heavy wooden ramc work, inflicting painfnl wounds on the face and limbs. He was con veyed to nis home where surgical as sistance rendered him as comfortable as possible.
