City Court.
Sally Walker and Grace Austin, two
colored damsels, were brought before
the Mayor this morning, charged with
disorderly conduct. They were fined
$5 each, in default of which they were
sent below for 20 days.
Two colored men, whose names we
suppress by request, were charged with
disorderly conduct on Saturday night,
and were fined $3 each.
A Narrow Escape.
Jefferson Robinson, colored, who
live3 on the corner of Front and Queen
streets, fell overboard at about 7 o'clock
last night from the wharf, between
Dock and Market streets. He was
somewhat intoxicated at the timq and
was rescued with difficulty alter he
had nearly last consciousness. In-
stead of going home and receiving the
benefit of warm clothing and a com
fortable bed, be went info the ofhee oc
cupied by Messrs. C. S. Liove & Uo.t
where he remained all night. This
morning be was entirely helpless and a
carriage was called by which hi was
conveyed to his home.
