Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, Randolph, of Roanoke, and Tyler were educated at William and Marv, and its old catalogues bear the names of .scores of notable Virginia families. The college reached the height of its fame in the first half of the 10th century, when it held the surveyor-generalship of the colony and enjoyed a large income from the export tax on tobacco. When the establishment of the Federal Government deprived the college of these emoluments, no recompense was given and there has been a con tinual struggle to keep up its repu tation on limited means ever since. Tne cancer lias entirely disappeared, . ere being no evidence or symptom of a aneerous character left. My general health - pood now, and my appetite better than it . as been in years. I am 82 years old, and to-day I am working in the field planting' corn. Yours truly, ; Jonas Limkbachv Gentlemen I had a soro on my upper lip for eight years. Seven different doctors at tempted in vain to heal it. One gave me a small viai ror nve aoiiars, wmcn was a cer- tfiin cure." It is needless to sav that- it did me no irood. About two years aga I became quite uneasy, as people tnougnt i nau a can. cer. and I took a course' of eighteen bottles of S. S. S. The result has been a complete cure. The ulcer or caneer healed beautiful ly, leaving scarcely a perceptible scar. From that day I have been in excellent health, the Specific having purified my blood thorough- a; increased my appetite and perfected my Igestion. In a word. I feel like a new woman, and, best of all, the eight year tdcet is gone entirely. Yours sincerely, Mrs. W. p. Casjios. Trenton, Todd Co.. Ky., Feb, 25, 18S7.
