At the Tabernacle.
The largest congregation Mr.Pear
son has yet had assembled in the
Tabernacle last night. The immense
room was fairly packed with people.
Just how many were present it is
difficult to say. We do not think
the room will hold more than 3,000,
and if so then we will put the num
ber at 3,000, for the place was full.
All conditions of people seemed to
be represented there. Mr. Pearson's
sermon was forceful and eiTective
one of the very best, indeed, that he
has yet delivered. The meeting this
forenoon was also largely attended
tne congregation iieginiimg to as
semble a full half hour before the
services began.
