New England Magazine.
The New England Magazine for

the articles are devoted to subjects

There is a" brief .article on History,
by A. E. Winship, the editor of the

and there is a long and fully illus

receives further notice in a general
article on'.the history and new life
of the city, by Hon. A. S. Colyar.
Dr. Holmes, whose eightieth birth
