There is a very bad place for the street car horses to travel over at the intersection of Fifth and Castle streets. The constant travel of the horses over that place has apparent ly made a trench between the rails, which is full of water, which runs from a water works fountain near by. It should be fixed. Martin Luther, the liberator of the church. His Foot Will I5e Saved. Mr. James Fulford, the young man who unfortunately had his foot nearly torn off while on one of the dredges down the river a few days ago, is improving. His foot was not amputated, as was reported. His foot was completely ob verted turn ed around. The doctor drew it around and placed it in position again. The doctor has placed the injured foot in ice and says that he entertains great hopes of saving it. Christian Association.
