When a person is sick they wish more than aught else a restoration of health. They are willing to take even nauseous medicine in order to get well. With many, however, a first consideration is whether the medicine is perfectly safe. Will it or will it not leave any evil after affects? Now, there is one remedy known to be certainly safe. It is a botanical discovery, and it is called Botanic Blood Balm, or B. B. B. It will not harm the most delicate con stitution, nor will a discontinuance cause a craving for its further use. It is a'sure antidote for poison in the blood. The blood becomes poison ed Jin various ways. Constipation, urinary difficulties and other causes of effete matter remaining in th6 system will cause blood impurity, or blood poison, as many call it. Symp toms of blood poison shpuld not be neglected. B.B. B. should be taken at once. It will cure promptly, and is not bad to take, nor will it leave any evil after-effects. J. D. Watkins, Blakely, Ga., writes: "Old sores covered my en tire person and itched intensely night and day. For several months I could not work at all. I com menced the use of Botanic Blood Balm and began to grow better the first week, and am now sound and well, free from sores and itching and at work again." Railroad Notes. Under the above heading the Fay etteville Observer publishes some in teresting items relative to the Gape Fear & ladkin Valley R. R. and its completion between Fayettevilleand Wilmington It says: The Cape Fear & Yadkin Valley Railway Company have just put on tlie road three new and powerful en ginesand even this important. ad ditibn to the rolling stock is hardly adequate to the increased volume of business. During a recent trip south we found the side-tracks all along the line crowded With cars, and traffic pushin transportation need ed. There are separate waiting rooms, for white and colored pai sengers, furnished with closets and lavatories, and having conve nient covered exits to the hacks and omnibuses in the rear. The ticket omce, splendidly liglited, occupies th centre of the building, with the company's telegraph office and the baggage room 'on the west and east ends?. The second floor is given up to the offices of the road, with good pitch and excellent ventilation, .-li the east and west wings are the rooms of the clerical force of the Gen'l Freight and Passenger Agent and Auditor, in the north centre are the offices of the Gen'l Superintend ent and Gen'l Freight and Passen ger Agent, and in the south centre the offices of the Auditor and Treas urer, wirh vault between them. The onlv important office to re main iri the oldstructure across Hay street will be that of the Secretary, Mr. John M. Rose. Perhaps it : is fitting that the venerated "father of the road" should still reign su preme on the spot where , this great line of internal improvement formu lated its plans, att led with its -difficulties, and finally- achieved its magnificent success.
