Turning out. a few "legally elected Senators and Representatives to make room for rabid partisans will not do. The work is too slow.' The Encampment Meeting; A meeting-of citizens interested in securing the permanent location of t he encampment grounds at Vrights ville met at the Produse Exchange at noon to day. The meeting was largely attended and a great deal of interest wa manifested in the mat ter. Col. John W. Atkinson pre sided and Capt. R. M. Mclntfre was made Secretary. The exact status of the affair was stated by the chair man and it was made known that about $2,000 is needed to complete the sum originally agreed upon. The grounds have been paid for but the sum mentioned above is needed for improvements. The general sentiment of the meeting seemed to be that this money should be raiseel iramediately and there is no doubts we think, that it will be done. The chaiiiiian" was authorized to etppojnt a committee of from three to ten persons to see to it that this determination is car ried out. The chairman, Col.
