One Truct, lying on the waters of Little River, and
nearly around the the town of Troy, and very near to
it, containing about 87(H) Acres, a considerable por
tion of which ia lively farming land, covered with a
great quantity of very valuable timber, and abounding
with many lasting springs of good*'water, and healthy.
Also, one other Tract containing 25G0 acres, a few
miles West of Troy, lying on the waters of Island
Creek, Woodrun Creek, Clark’s Creek, Rocky Creek,
and Cedar Creek, which it is believed contains a great
deal of MINERAL WEALTH. It borders on a Gold
Mine tract, and runs a considerable distnnce around
it, on which a large amount of Gold has been tound^
It ia well watered, well timbered, and contains a good
deal of productive land.
A good bargain will be given in the sale of these lands.
On the payment of one-third in cash, a credit of one
and two years will be given for the balance.

obtained from Mr. E. Deberry, of Montgomery, who
will communicate to us any offers made for them, and
aid the purchaser in obtaining titles.

R ANA way from the subscriber, in Pittsborough,
Chatham county, N. C., on the 8th inst., a negro
boy named Jl.M, ubout 18 years of age, of dark brown
color, about fire feet high, heavy built, and weighs
from 140 to 150 lbs. He is smart and quick spoken
and rocks when be walks. The only notable mark re
collected is a scar on the middle of the forehead near
where the hair joins. He had on, when last seen, a
brown Tweeds coat, with flaps on the pocket. A re
ward of Fifty Dollars will be paid for him, if taken
out of the county of Chatham, or Twenty-five Dol'ars
if taken in it.

issuing any Execution on a certain Judgment latel.''

Prevatt who sues to the use ot Giles Leitch, assignee
of William W. Gunn, is Plaintiff, and the said John K

Affidavit has been made before me that the sail
William W. Gunn is a non resident of this State.
This is therefore to notify said William W. Gunn to
appear at the next Term of the Court of Equity to be
held for the county of Robeson, at tne Court House in
Lumbertoa, on the 4th Monday in March next, and
plead, answer or demur to said Bill, otherwise the
