It is like repeat ing au oft-told tale to te'l the people of North Carolina about the Bingham School. It is, we believe, the oldest existing educational institution in the State. Vre think it antedates the University. For nearly a century, through three generations, under the management of the same family, in lineal d. scent from father to son, it has held the vry first rank among i he primary literary institutions of the country, and at no time of its lng life has it &tood higher or stronger than it does this day. Look . at the records of the University and it will be found that "Bingham's boys" al ways bore off the palm of collegiate distinction. If yon find a boy who has passed through Bingham's School you may be. sure, without asking another question, that he is a thorouh ly educated 3'oung gentleman. It now has 142 students from 12 Scates, and one from Asia.
